LMU students spend Spring Break in Belize

HARROGATE, Tenn. — While Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) was on spring break last month, seven students accompanied by two faculty members and a graduate chaperone spent a week in the Central American nation of Belize. The students, enrolled in LMU's interdisciplinary ART/BIO 395 class, participated in the field experience service learning component of teaching lessons prepared by students Whitney Gibson and Kelly Scharffbillig. The entire group taught the lessons to elementary and middle school students in San Miguel, Toledo District of Belize.
